Helen is an enthusiastic leader with extensive experience in the general insurance industry spanning over over 35 years. Her previous roles include Chief Risk Officer, Insurance Risk Director, Underwriting Director and Oversight Manager in both the Company and Lloyd’s markets.
She has Board and Executive committee experience with particular expertise in reviewing systems of governance, performance management and dealing with regulators. Her core expertise in portfolio and performance management, portfolio and case pricing, case underwriting from small companies to large multinationals and policy wordings
Helen is a recognised expert in asbestos related issues and their impact on insurers. She has represented insurers and the industry in discussions with government on the compensation culture and asbestos related issues.
A passion for Helen is technical and personal development of others and throughout her career has become an experienced coach and mentor. She has designed and delivered technical training and is skilled at presenting as a guest speaker at industry events.
