MAP Training was delighted to return to London last week to support Liberty Mutual with the latest delivery of its Technical Learning Faculty Train the Trainer programme.
Now in its third year, the programme brings together underwriting colleagues from across Liberty Mutual’s global operations to develop their training, facilitation and knowledge-sharing skills, helping to build a growing network of internal faculty members who can support learning across the business.

This year’s programme had an additional focus. Alongside developing core facilitation capabilities, delegates were preparing to deliver a new underwriting learning programme developed jointly by MAP Training and Liberty Mutual. Designed for a global underwriting audience, the programme will be delivered by Liberty’s faculty members across multiple regions, ensuring a consistent learning experience while leveraging local expertise and insight.
Throughout the workshop, delegates explored practical facilitation techniques, learner engagement strategies and approaches to delivering technical learning effectively. They also practised delivering elements of the new underwriting programme, received detailed feedback and built confidence in their ability to lead engaging learning experiences.
Having supported the programme since its inception, it has been rewarding to see the faculty network continue to grow year on year. As new cohorts join the programme, Liberty Mutual is further strengthening its ability to share knowledge, expertise and best practice across its global underwriting community.
