A passing of a great colleague and friend, Ian Bostock

It was with real shock that we heard the news of the sudden passing of Ian Bostock on Tuesday 25th June. Ian was a colleague and friend to many of the team here at MAP Training from our times at RSA and many of us have stayed in touch with him on a regular basis since moving to pastures new. I personally had the pleasure of working with Ian on many great training programmes at RSA where he was always a fantastic supporter of the Technical Academy team. He was always willing to give up his time to share his knowledge with younger colleagues and supported so many of our training and development programmes. In addition, he also found the time to support colleagues with his work through The Manager’s Association where again, he never shied away from getting involved in extra duties.

Through all that work, he remained positive, happy and really great fun to spend time with where his sense of humour and sharp with had me in stitches at times!!

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Sue who he leaves behind having had far too short a time to enjoy a well earned retirement together.

RIP Ian – you’ll live on in our memories for many years to come.
