Celebrating Our New Coaching Champions at Ecclesiastical

We’re delighted to celebrate the commitment and enthusiasm shown by our outstanding team of new coaches, who are stepping into a vital role supporting their colleagues in embedding new skills and approaches following our recent training programme with the Church Operations team.

This coaching programme was identified by the leadership team—including Mark Cowdell, Lucy Handscomb, and Rob De Mattia—as a critical part of the overall development journey. In response, David Brown from MAP Training designed and delivered an engaging, practical coach development programme tailored to this new group.

The coaches’ dedication to continuous learning and peer support is truly inspiring—and it’s also essential to the long-term success of this initiative. Their work will help the business achieve its goal of delivering service to all Church customers with confidence, credibility, and empathy.

By championing new ways of working and offering guidance where it’s needed most, these coaches are fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and trust.
